AWS - Quantum Networks
Role: Concept, Design, Animation
Client: GPJ
Quantum computing isn’t exactly light bedtime reading.
Approached to tell the story of the quantum computing age for AWS, we set out to visualise it in a way that was both illuminating and entertaining. Taking a headfirst dive into a world of qubits, entanglement, and probabilities, where logic gets weird and everything moves at once — crafting this peice was a Rubik’s Cube.

Before a single keyframe was set, we mapped out the conceptual narrative through a tightly woven storyboard — the backbone of the piece. Sketching each scene allowed us to translate abstract ideas into visual moments, balancing technical accuracy with creative flair. This early stage was where the storytelling took shape, helping us choreograph complex concepts into a clear and compelling visual flow.Every frame was a stepping stone, grounding the science in a rhythmic narrative.
The project demanded a bold and stylised visual language that could carry complex ideas without losing clarity or character. We explored a range of looks — from retro-futuristic grids to abstract particle systems — before landing on an aesthetic that felt equal parts high-tech and human.

Crafting this piece meant solving more than just the science — we engineered custom workflows and layered-up rigs to wrangle the data-heavy content into a fluid, watchable narrative.
The result is an energetic and insightful visual journey that doesn’t just explain quantum computing — it invites the viewer to feel it.
This project is a prime example of what we love: turning complex, technical content into clear, compelling stories — with style.
